At Omni W.C. Inc. we have a team of very talented individuals who bring a great deal of proficiency and experience to each project. Their combination of technical skills and a good sense of artistry allow us to create embossed textures on a wide variety of substrates.

Embossing refers to the process of creating a raised or recessed design that adds dimensional interest to a decorative paper or fabric. It often conveys a sense of elegance and provides a textural contrast that elevates the quality of the product. When we undertake an embossing project, we make a detailed evaluation of the substrate in order to apply the correct level of heat or pressure in order to create the desired intensity on the raised or indented impression.

We embossed the vellum paper shown in the image here using a hot embossing process. By closely monitoring production, we were able to achieve a consistent texture throughout the entire 422 yard production run. We supplied this embossed vellum to the customer on a 54" roll.

This project demonstrates only one example of embossing. We frequently use an embossing process on coated and metallic non-wovens as well as clay-coated strippable papers. We can enhance the embossing with vinyl laminations or rotogravure printing to add an additional element of visual interest. If you are considering the addition of an embossed element on your next project, we have the capability, flexibility and versatility to offer you a variety of different solutions.
